Player of the Year Awards 2007

he Supporters Club organised annual Player of the Year awards.  Voting was open to all Boro fans and took place over a two-week period just before the end of each season.  The awards were presented after the final home game of the campaign.

Chris Thompson - top goalscorer Jimmy Beadle - Young Player of the Year Lee Cartwright - Players' Player of the Year The awards for 2006-07 were presented on 21st April 2007 at the McCain Stadium, following the final home game of the season against Leigh RMI. Darren Foreman - Clubman of the Year Denny Ingram - Away Player of the Year Lee Cartwright - Scarborough FC Player of the Year 2006-07 Midfielder Lee Cartwright won the Player of the Year award and also picked up the Players' Player of the Year award as voted by his team-mates.  The Young Player of the Year was Jimmy Beadle, and the top performer in away games was Denny Ingram.  Chris Thompson collected the top goalscorers award, and the Clubman of the Year award was given to physio Darren Foreman.   The Seakids Klub Player of the Year was Ged Dalton.   Every member of the squad received a memento from the Supporters Club for the part they played in the 2006-07 season.   Supporters Club chairman Stuart Canvin is shown presenting the awards to the recipients.
